blog 03 (hand lettering)
one of my works!
Hello!
What’s going on? All in full swing? Hope it is!
Enough of
that usual introduction…let’s straight away get to the point. So as we all are
aware, tomorrow is Easter what are your guys’ plans? Shh…don't tell this to my
mom, I am going to eat all the candy at my home :D
I have heartbreaking
news to tell, no no wait I don’t have coronavirus but, this is going to be my
last blog :(
Haha, hope I
got you really well on that one, though April fool is gone. Lol. Tell me, if I did
or not in the comment section down below.
As you all
know, in my last blog I talked about calligraphy, why don’t we just continue
that as I see you all really loved my last blog which was just an introduction
to it now we are going really into the subject. Hand-lettering/calligraphy is
really useful. You can use it in various things like making cards, bookmarks,
writing names on your books, etc.
I can’t
share much on calligraphy as I am just a beginner but you know every person has a first time. If your words don’t look good or are messy it’s ok because we
both are learning. Calligraphy has many
stages to achieve to become a professional. I am currently trying to master the
first one called “faux calligraphy” the word faux derives from ‘fake’. In this
mode of calligraphy, one shall use normal gel and ball point pens to highlight
the lower strokes. Firstly, write the word/ sentence/ quote in cursive and
highlight the lower strokes. We don’t need to know more at this stage and are
good to go!!
Hmm…so I
guess that was a bit of a heavy dose for the day, that might be too much to
handle in one go. Why don’t you guys start sharing your experiences, reading my
blog? Can we all please use the comment section and share our views?
So, for now
let me say goodbye! I, Isha am officially signing off for this blog. Have a
good day!
